I scout for wild clay across the land that held me for 28 years. I dig it up, process it, and create. Then, there is fire. A traditional, wood fire kiln. Each clay-firing is a ceremony. Connection with all the elements is honoured. Nakoma vessels are for you, who know that relationship with the Earth is not to be forgotten.
With the feeling of warmth on my hands, the sun on my face and the smell of pine trees and tea. Breathing in the forest wisdom, this is how all Nakoma vessels begin: with scouting and digging the wild clay.
